Deceased Estates
We are all on earth for a limited time. When we pass away, all our assets are transferred into what is known as a deceased estate. An Executor is appointed to liquidate all the assets, sell, so that the money is available to the heirs, also referred to as an estate late. The process can take a while, so where you expedite the process, you do, by appointing auctioneers to sell off the assets. There are solvent and insolvent estates. Solvent – all debts that the deceased has at the time of passing will be settled by the sale of the deceased’s assets. Then there is an insolvent estate, where there is not sufficient money in the estate to settle the debts; heirs can be asked to pay in money too. Getting auctioneers in, helps expedite the process.
